BIO
Daisy Diamond creates sculptures and paintings exploring the relationships between objects, decay, and the subtleties of memory. Informed by their study of the condition and care of material culture within the field of art conservation, Daisy creates objects that resist categorization and emphasize the accumulation of meaning over time.
They have a BA in Art and Visual Culture from Bates College and are currently completing a MS in Art Conservation at the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. Daisy has exhibited work in Philadelphia at Da Vinci Art Alliance, Vox Populi, and William Way LGBT Community Center and completed residencies and workshops at Penland School of Craft (NC) and Peters Valley School of Craft (NJ).
